COLO SPRGS, CO (April 28, 2025) – USA Shooting made a powerful statement on the international shooting stage this April, earning an impressive 13 medals across two International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup competitions in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Lima, Peru.

The team’s remarkable performance included historic milestones, a USA podium sweep, first-time individual World Cup gold medals for Christian Elliott and Will Hinton, and Dustan Taylor’s first individual World Cup medal.

At the Buenos Aires World Cup, Team USA secured six medals. Highlights included:

Olympian Dania Vizzi capturing gold in Women’s Skeet after a thrilling head-to-head showdown with Kimberly Rhode, a six-time Olympic medalist, proudly taking silver. Elliott winning his first career World Cup individual gold in Men’s Skeet, Glenn Eller taking silver in Men’s Trap, Hinton claiming the bronze in Men’s Trap, and Carey Garrison earning silver in Women’s Trap.

Momentum continued in Lima, where Team USA topped the podium seven more times, highlighted by a Women’s Skeet podium sweep — an extraordinary accomplishment by Kimberly Rhode (gold), Samantha Simonton (silver), and Dania Vizzi (bronze). Other standout performances included Taylor winning gold in Men’s Skeet, his first individual ISSF medal, and Elliott following up his Buenos Aires gold with a silver in Men’s Skeet. Sagen Maddalena, Paris 2024 Olympic medalist, earning gold in Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions, and Olympian Hinton claiming his first career World Cup individual gold in Men’s Trap.
